What is the National Highway Truck Safety Organization
National Highway Truck Safety Organization has been serving the community for over 30 years. We started as a small volunteer non for profit group and have grown into a full-service public safety agency. We are proud of our history and the impact we have had on highway truck safety and prevention of fatalities. Our staff is trained in several disciplines to assist families and victims of trucking accidents. The staff is trained by numerous attorney generals offices to assist families when the person responsible for the truck accident fatality is charged criminally. As Crime Victim Advocates we are updated daily on every available funds that can help you in this time of need. This includes funeral expenses, hospital bills, mental health counseling, loss wages and more. Our staff will assist you in filling out the victim compensation fund form for the State the accident happened. This is a free service. Many of our volunteers are also trained licensed insurance adjusters which will assist you in getting a claim set up with any insurance company responsible. At times there is a judicial component to the Truck Accident Fatality and our staff is trained to advocate in your behalf as well as to guide you through the court system. Finally we take down critical information that is vital in the prevention of other fatal truck accidents on our highways. This we use to fight for stronger safety laws. In addition, many times the fatality also originates from a product defect. This defect causes a preventable fire or rollover which played a critical part in the truck accident death or injury. Our staff advocates for change in making truck accidents survivable. Our staff is on your side from the scene to the legislature for change in truck safety laws. Plus we fight to make the responsible Company, Manufacturer or Party pay damages to the victim as a deterring factor to take appropriate steps to make Truck Safety a priority in their daily activity. Together we can prevent Truck Highway Deaths and Fatalities.
